A native of Ponchatoula, Kimberly Landry Coates has served on the Tangipahoa Parish Council for the past three years. She is a graduate of Ponchatoula High School and later Southeastern University. Coates spent over 20 years in finance, banking and real estate mostly as a commercial loan officer.
As our next State Representative, Kim is running to make a difference for our children, our economy, and our future as a strong voice in Baton Rouge.
Kim has been an advocate to protect wetlands, reduce flooding and smart development. She is pro-life, pro-family, pro-second amendment who strongly supports law enforcement. She believes it is time Louisiana is not at the bottom for education and the economy. It is time to cut waste and promote efficient spending and she is ready to move Louisiana forward and make a difference.
